AMIHO Technology, experts in wireless communications, today announces the launch of its latest Evaluation Kit, the AE093, to help customers connect their Smart Meters and Internet of Things devices.
The AE093 kit provides a flexible and comprehensive development and evaluation platform to help customers test their products, and quickly and simply provide a proof of concept. It demonstrates the AM093, AMIHO’s latest radio modem module, which operates with both Wireless Meter-Bus and long range LoRa™ capability, as well as providing dual-band 169 MHz and 868 MHz and features Freescale’s Kinetis family of MCUs based on the ARM™ Cortex.
The modules include a comprehensive and optimised software stack, so customers can focus on developing their end application, speeding up product development time.
“Our products are aimed at connectivity for the Smart Metering and Internet of Things markets, where our customers are planning to connect a high volume of devices,” said David Blumstein, MD of AMIHO Technology. “Our range of modules have low power draw and are therefore especially suited to battery-operated and off-grid devices. Using our modules overcomes a number of challenges for these sectors including enabling connectivity for hard-to-reach devices.”
The evaluation kits are available to order now from AMIHO.
